Hello Gav, been a while since we had the reunion, what a brill night. I was very wary about going as it had been so long since I had seen anyone from school. I was so glad I did decide to have a drink with everyone, well done to you and Georgina and Rita, what a great night, thanks. Please pass on my email address if anyone asks (watch the spelling of Michael as SKY have spelt it micheal) thanks again for a great time...Mick

From Adrian (Rob) Helliker : 11/10/2008
Today, I came across this website well done; clearly a lot of hard work has gone into the research. On viewing was pleased to see myself, my peers as well as the old adversaries.
My name is Adrian Robert Helliker, (sorry to say misspelt on the photographs), sadly, now I have missed the reunion would it be possible to either be placed on an email circulation list or have my details circulated. With plenty of free time on my hands, if anyone wants to meet up with me for coffee or a drink that would be my pleasure.

Adrian has supplied me with his email address, and his phone number. To contact him, please send me an email and I will forward his details on to you. - From Gavin

From Eileen Wingfield : 23/09/2008
Thank you to all concerned, what a wonderful evening. I was very unsure about attending having left Eastwood some 39 years ago, and having had little contact with anyone since. My daughter persuaded me that I would be sorry if I did not come, and how right she was. I found many familiar faces, more lines and wrinkles, but non the less, just the same. I found it a struggle to put names to faces, and when introduced, still couldn't remember them within a few minutes, but that is old age. It would be nice to do it again sometime, maybe when we all turn 65?

If anyone would like to get in touch, please feel free to share my email address.

P.S. If anyone has any photos from the evening, it would be good if they could be put on the website, unfortunately I didn't take a camera.

Best wishes Eileen

If anyone does have any photos from the night, please email them to me and I will put them on the website. - From Gavin

What a laugh we had, I can hardly believe it's 45 years since some of us had seen one another.
Thankyou Rita, Georgina, Gavin, and Ian for organizing such a good night.
Kind regards Sheila Cooke. (for one night I was).

I must admit that I was a bit apprehensive when I first heard about the reunion, and probably would have been a bit wary of attending, had it not been for the fact that I had been asked to produce this website. I envisaged a group of people, standing around, with nothing to say to each other, staring at the clock, and waiting for the time to go home, how wrong I was. It turned out to be a brilliant night, with everyone seemingly mixing together and enjoying themselves, after overcoming the initial embarrassment of having to introduce themselves to people they had previously known for about 15 years :-)
Thanks to all of those that attended, and helped to make the reunion the success it was. - Gavin
